The PL choose the kick off times. Simple as that. You can’t ask BT to pay millions for a slot and then tell them after they have agreed that they can’t pick the games they want. The broadcasters are not the ones at fault here

That is all fine But the clubs don’t want to have to pay a yet another rebate to the broadcasters. The PL are the reason for all of this ... not the broadcasters.

Do you mean the control they have in regards to picking games they are paying millions of pounds for ? Because the ‘schedule’ is actually set by the PL, they set the kick off times and the packages and then the broadcasters bid for them. Sky/BT only get to pick the games to fit the packages...

Interviewer was poking Klopp regarding the pen and the answer he gave. However he was spot on to defend BT when Klopp starting blaming them for the kick off times.
