That seems pretty high to me. The Everton game on BT got around 500-600k apparently, I think with lots of free games and all the other PPV games to choose from, added to people unable or unwilling to pay that would be a lot

They didn't have to do any of that. They just had to say "we will be releasing details of how fans can get refunds shortly". I don't think fans unhappiness over the PPV couldn't have been foreseen.
