Sorry, yes, that was me being stupid. I might get one. I bought the Google equivalent - https://store.google.com/gb/product/google_nest_hub - a while back for my office, but as that's still a work in progress it now lives in the kitchen. I might get the Echo Show to replace it.

The tablet or the show? If it's the tablet, I'd be interested in hearing how you find it. I wouldn't expect anything like iPad performance for the price, but if it handles the basics well enough, I'd be tempted to get one for the times my son has my iPad. Which is most of the time, obviously.
