    I think anyone of the big 6 would love him to be in their corner. Didn't he get a hefty pay rise to prevent him heading of to Liverpool a few years ago? We are certainly better off with him fighting our corner.

    The problem is the power grab is the whole reason for doing this. The other changes are just sweetners to get the power grab through the door and as you say, once it's done, the big 6 can do what they like, even stop any payments to the other leagues.

    It is clearly a power grab by the big 6 who I'm sure are in on it although it is seemingly being proposed by Liverpool and Man Utd. The 'bribe' to the EFL is immaterial because the EFL don't get to vote on it. To get this through they will need 14 clubs to agree to the changes. Another...
