They perhaps need reminding that, under the proposals, Manchester United and Liverpool will have a major say in the running of that EFL club, including having a veto on the Chairman and directors, having a say on how much they can spend, or how much they can make.
It's up to them, of course...
A European Super League NEEDS the top English clubs. It would be severely lacking in commercial and meritous clout if it left out Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea etc.
It's an appalling idea. It's the first step on the Premier League being closed shop. It gives the PL club a far greater advantage - one, because they've played fewer games, and two - because they're a PL club with greater assets. As such, it will only ever be two-up, two-down, year after year...
