Because whilst what you have said is true. It’s all completely optional, there are plenty of ways around it if you don’t want to pay. I’ll pay for 1 game - because there is a group of us wanting to watch it

They tried doing this 10 years ago, it failed. They won’t do it again and PL will go elsewhere

So you will get to see the same games that are paid for on those services? No one is forcing you to pay it - the anger is a massive over reaction to something optional.

Think it’s coming soon, EFL already have one don’t they ? They have been charging for games this season I believe ? It’s another thing that was always going to end up costing the public

That’s even worse. I’ve only had to pay £150 for Spurs and the rest is taken when stadium open minus any games missed. Which whilst I’m not defending the idea, least I’m not paying twice
