I'd venture anyone on a budget shouldn't have a Sky contract - I certainly don't - but we all choose how we allocate and spend cash, and it's not for me to judge.
I was genuinely curious if anyone had asked for their money back. It seems unlikely that no-one has asked yet, but I've not read...
This is half of a valid point.
I say half because I think you can split this into home and away games.
If you're a STH and have funds lodged with the club, then paying PPV for Albion home games could be a case of "I need some of the money of mine you have back, in order that I can pay the £15...
Out of interest, has anyone asked the club for their retained STH funds back and, if so, what was the response?
Lots of people complaining about being charged twice, which I disagree with as stated, but I'm wondering what they've personally done to remedy that.
It's really not - it's been made very clear that cash balance held will be used to pay for games we actually attend.
Unless you're attending the West Brom game, and I suspect you are not, you are not being charged by the club for it.
I get people saying £15 is too much (although I could make a case it isn't).
I get people saying 5:30 on a Monday is a ludicrous time for football, as it obviously is.
I don't get people saying we are being charged twice because:
1. You can only be charged once if you opt to pay the PPV fee...
Indeed - the Albion under Tony Bloom's ownership and Paul Barber's day-to-day leadership have gone the extra mile, time and time again, to be fair and equitable wherever possible and, beyond that, always taken time to explain decisions and reasoning as transparently as possible. We may not...
Indeed, but it's not a UK offering is it? I'm not sure that's a fair basis of assessing value of the £15 price point - it's just a step above dodgy free streaming.
I'm not saying £15 represents good value, but I'm interested in what those who are saying it is expensive are using as a barometer...

It's quite late and drink has been taken, so I'll be brief-ish, and try to cover a few points concisely..
1. "Paying twice" - no, we're not. STHs have paid some money to see Albion live at the Amex. The club are holding this money right now as, until very recently, there was a...
Well, and I was going to say in my post above, surely in the spirit of "fairness" to fans of all clubs, the distribution of games in existing slots should be more evenly distributed than it usually is.
Why should, say, an Albion fan have to stump up 25 * £15 = £375 to see their games if a...
It's the absolute opposite isn't it?
PPV games are those NOT selected under the existing contract and scheduled slots and these are weighted towards the big clubs.
This is the table from 2018/19 which illustrates this:
Why would there be an income gap to be filled for Sky? They have a contract to televise X number of games, which they still can in their regular slots and would be covered by existing Sky/BT subscriptions.
