You are very welcome to your view in this.
I take a different one. I think it is brilliant that they are taking a stand against the homophobic abuse if their team mate. I don't think people should have to put up with this.
If you think this makes me 'woke' or 'weedy' then so be it. Your name...
Well, firstly let's establish the fact that I am not 'you lot', I am just one person. Not sure who else you are lumping me in with.
Secondly I was not at the game so I didn't witness any of the abuse you are describing. This is why I didn't start a thread about it.
As I said I would support...
I think it's just faux outrage so he doesn't have to admit he is angry about homophobic abuse not being tolerated across the other side of the Atlantic.
People are easily triggered by things when they are trying to 'tow' the anti woke line.

Brilliant bit of whatabouttery by the way. A compelling argument against San Diego taking a stand.
Using hideous words to describe people with disabilities often gets called out on here, and in polite society.
Next time you hear it, I suggest you start a thread on it if it bothers you too...
You know that is trendy liberal elite are just jealous of your homomagnatism. We are always towing that woke line but never get close.
Is it the shoes or the hat do you think?

Now let's see a team (or teams) walk off when they are racially abused.
This raises awareness and lets people know it won't be tolerated.

As the father of kids with 'disabilities' I would have been impressed had they taken this stand.
Out if interested what is the threshold of earning to put up with abuse while trying to do your job? $5000 a week? 2500? 1000?
