It may be a good idea to chat with Sky first though to see package deals etc.
Must re-share this.
I threatened to leave (unintentionally, I actually pressed the wrong button) and they reduced it to £59 a month.
Worth consideration. I think it's about £70 at the moment.
I've signed up for Virgin with broadband, TV and Sky and BT sports for £69 per month.
The key was being able to record programmes. I often record to watch later and Now doesn't allow that.
So, it's that time again.
I like to have Sky and BT Sports. Not interested in anything else apart from broadband itself.
Sky say they are constrained by BT prices and can only offer broadband, TV and full sports at £86 per month.
Virgin are offering the same at £69.
This looks like the best...
So the annual haggle is completed after much negotiation and brinkmanship
'Superfast' Broadband
Sky Tv
Sky Sports
BT Sports
£70 a month.
More than greedy me wanted to pay, less than they wanted to offer it at.
Virgin currently offering, what seems like, all that for £79 a month to new customers.

If that fits your requirements I wouldn't take it for less.
Quite surprised that Sky are not budging, even though Virgin is offering Broadband+ TV Sports (Sky & BT) at £65 per month.
Sky only offering at £78 per month.
Reluctant to go to Virgin as there are issues with new connections and customer services etc. Also reluctant with BT as it is two years...
So the process starts, and a slightly surprising result.
I'm paying £83 a month, I get offered £75 a month then £73 a month.
Expecting this to be a mere smokescreen for the big hit offer I turn them down saying they are just not matching the other offers. I then get a, albeit very polite...
There is a part of me that wonders if BT Sport is enough. I love the Champions League and it has the rugby too (as well a few EPL games). There are normally good three month NowTV offers on when cricket stuff comes around. Appreciate your input.
Thanks for replying.
The package without BT is £58 a month. If BT was £14 then it goes to £72 a month. So that's £11 off under the 'a friend has' line.
I'm challenging myself to get close to £60 a month which a present BT deal (including the refund of a reward card) is running at. I'll argue...
It's that time again.
I currently pay £83 a month for:
Sky broadband (inc line rental etc)
Sky Entertainment
Sky Sports (all channels)
BT Sport add-on (all channels)
I love a good haggle me and expect to get the price down. But I'd be interested for some pointers from those who have done...
