The same here. I’ve never watched so much football. Project Restart has been immense imho.
The first two months of lockdown I loved the break from football hype and the stress of our possible looming relegation.
Then I really started to miss it, viewing batteries recharged.
Bowen, Soucek, Rice, Noble have Manure on the run around. Matic and Williams can’t handle Bowen, niggly fouls.
Not a WH fan, but they’ve been outstanding so far.
Watching Manure v WHam, the visitors have shown the same resilience that Stains and Chelsea showed against Manure. Also not afraid to attack, but always with a confident safety blanket at the back.
Greenwood, Pogba, Martial, Rashford and Fernandes have not been given the freedom of OT to notch...
Well Arsenal played 6 outfielders who didn’t start against Citeh, so only 4 were tired from the cruelty of playing 72 hours earlier.
Yet they still stunk the game out, no oomph, no focus, no fight. Handing relegation fodder, who’d previously conceded 66 goals, three points.
Arsenal fans...
Villa plan to go on big spend, this time on proven PL quality. Their supporters are confident that the owner will give two fingers to FFP ..... the ManC decision is seen as a loophole to exploit, as is the CV19 chaos in football finance.
I did a silly thing near the end and bet on a Villa win. Greed. £46 profit altogether.
I’m playing with a small pot since Restart, the usual ups and downs.
Once it’s gone, it’s gone. I only started betting last August, so may pull out when it’s gone.
Next up:
I’ll look at on the beach LFC...
Not wanting LL before the FAC Final, Arteta will play the Citeh beating team against Watford, to neatly keep Villa up.
T$sser.
I hope Chelsea wallop them in the final.
Arteta must like Villa or hate Bmuff/Watford.
He rested five of that team.
I had thought that truly big clubs try to win every league game for their supporters. It’s in their DNA.
They got a bit of luck along the way - the Sheff Utd disallowed goal, relentless losing machine CP arrive in town and Arteta rests half the team that outclassed Citeh.
Arsenal fans online are furious. To a huge club, trying to win every game and doing it against relegation shite is a given...
Is the Watford fan a colleague?
I’ve worked with a few Manure and West Ham plastics. Generally arrogant, with a bizarre dislike for their born n bred local club .... BHAFC. Revelling in our lean years. Which set me up for life as disliking their adopted clubs.
Villa will time waste to the final whistle. Expect every anti football trick in the book.
With Burnley and Newcastle, they are the masters.
That is my annoyance with football today, at least VAR has pros and cons.
After your pre match post and seeing Arteta drop half his FAC heroes, I laid against an Arsenal win on Betfair.
A cruel time of the season, where a manager resting a load of players, can influence a major league outcome elsewhere. Colin Wnkr is still angry that Liverpool rested players on the...
