Agree. A top striker who makes the ball stick and can score over 10 would totally transform the team. Not that that is that easy to find. But I think that is the key. Love Maupay but he needs to play off someone not be numero uno.

Or, we improve. Give you an example. Beginning of the season RB was so poor that one of our most promising players, and a player who'd NEVER played there, Alzate, plays RB. Now we have Lamptey, he cost 4 million. So we can improve, in every postion. We are Brighton. It's not about individuals...

And if 6ft White is starting it's another serious consideration. The height thing, and ergo presence in the box, has become a bit of an NSC joke, but if your backline doesn't average 6ft 9 it DOES matter. If it's Lampey, White, Webster, Bernardo you start to think about the size of your GK.

So outside the top 6 where does he play? You're saying if i gave you Pope or Leno as a swap you'd keep Ryan?!

Everton are in 11th. They have Pickford. Saints 12th, they have McCarthy Newcastle 14th, Dubravka. Also, outside the top 6? Leno? Henderson? Pope??

I'll rise to this... I guarantee that if you watch all the goals we've conceded where the ball has been run through midfield, Propper walks. I guarantee it. Now you can say that isn't his job, but he doesn't score or get assists either so.... In fact, if you look at the great scapegoat of...

Yeah, no way will he drop a league. Absolute warrior and would be gutted to lose him.

Who is 'there' then? Which CM do we have that is consistent? Stephens and Propper both have a goal conceding mistake in them EVERY game. That isn't normal.

No goals or assists though. Ever. Very few tackles.

You honestly can't see both the quality and potential of Bissouma and how many million miles ahead of every other CM at the club it is?!

Our best midfielder is Biss, followed by Alzate, followed by Mooy.

Propper is Rolls Royce when we're doing well and he is looking forward. He isn't a DM against the better teams in the league. He's a keeper but we need better CM's for him to be effective.

Anyone can play for Potter but i'd suggest those who lack pace, basic ball control, passing skills, workrate and adaptability are at risk. Make of that what you will.
