And defintely agree with your last sentence :thumbsup: It's odd that Poyet played possession football and wanted the pitch at The Amex as big as possible as a result. Potter also plays possession (when it suits) but our midfield is horribly narrow and Lamptey often tucks in too much.

Honestly, I think Ryan suits our requirements well (for now). We're very much a crowd and block defence at times and his reflexes suit that. And, as I posted earlier on the thread, his distribution is excellent. Everyone's after a sweeper keeper these days. Didn't Sprake chuck it in his own net...
