Heard on the radio earlier that injuries in Bundesliga restart so far are about 3x normal levels. Base fitness is ok but lots of soft-tissue injuries caused by direction changes and rapid acceleration/deceleration, lunging etc.

Exactly what I was thinking - Potter has already demonstrated a complete willingness to change personnel and/or formation far more than Chris ever did (ooh, 72 mins and the alarm has gone off - must be time for the like-for-like substitution). This will play into his creative hands even more...
