Have to disagree with you re the '70's, plenty of people had great times. I did and am now almost 72. Substitute the '50's for the '70's and you may have a point; however, some people , even older than me, loved the '50's..........as a young lad, I thought they were often very boring.

Yes, it was a good time to be young, but it would have been even better with more shops open on a Sunday and the pubs open all day!
