I can understand your concern.
I have seen leaks in concrete floors and the water does sometimes rise up, so floor covering will be wet, also I have seen walls getting damp.

I would do the work, it's the ideal job if the property is empty, the materials are there and you work on your own.
You can also get an early start if the students are away. :wink:
I haven't had any phone calls today about jobs, one person cancelled a job when I called them to see if they still wanted me to call this morning.

Many elderly people that live alone do panic even when they have a dripping tap, I would feel very guilty saying no I can't help, especially if it's a regular customer that trusts me to work in their home.
