Morrisons earlier, one half full trolley in the aisle had 5 x 4 packs of baked beans in it, the trolley owner elsewhere. Was very tempted to take a couple of them out and return them to the scantly stocked baked bean shelf.
Libraries are shutting, all loans not due back until June now. I’ve just panicked borrowed my card maximum of 20 books (thrillers), which I can’t imagine being an issue on here because no one uses libraries any more :smile:

Diets will change as a result of this. People who have never looked a chick pea or black eyed pea in the eye before are taking them because they’re in a tin and still on the otherwise empty shelves.
Really struggle to comprehend the obsession with spending money on this stuff. Isn’t a comprehensive hand washing routine just about as effective? (Could be wrong). Either way, unless you touch absolute nothing when you’re out and about you’re going to constantly need to keep reapplying it...
I abhor excess stockpiling at a cost to others; that said, what people aren’t factoring in when they see loaded trolleys is that a lot of people are potentially buying food for more than one household and potentially for elderly relatives.

What they should do is program the tills, especially the self-service the way they do with headache tablets etc. so that you can only buy two packs of pasta or one of bog roll.
