I agree! There we go.
There’s a time and a place for Duffy (eg last ten against Newcastle) and I feel there is a time and a place for Solly (eg as a plan B with Murray)
Yes, I said that in my first post on the subject!!! He doesn’t play that much at the moment because he doesn’t suit the system(s)/tactics so well under Potter. Nor does Duffy, nor did Knockaert. That doesn’t make them bad players.
Not a purely a winger but interesting stats nonetheless. He has more Premier League assists than Aaron Mooy in less games. Ali J still has zero assists in 29 appearances. Trossard, one of the most gifted players I’ve ever seen only has 3 assists in 31 games, only a marginally better ratio.
I didn’t say that March and Glenn were the answer, but if we signed a player like Glenn and wanted to get balls in the box to him, Solly would start, plain and simple. Murray starts against Southampton and low and behold, there’s Solly too.
Why are Everton linked? Supply to Richarlison...
I’m firmly in the Solly March fan club. Best crosser at the club by a country mile and one of few that can beat a player but we don’t often play to his strengths which doesn’t help his confidence. Works bloody hard too.
