Just watched the Old Firm and Duffy was really not good at all, poor defensively, attacking headers either offside or miles over the bar. Got nutmegged by a far superior Goldson for his second goal.
Like Shane but really poor today.
lower down the page, pretty damning stuff - he is their...
Couple of Celtic fans comments on the big fella after tonight's game, a few of theirs share similar views to a few of ours!

Don't think anybody questions that Webster is a better ball player. But Duffy is a better defender imho.
You want to judge Duffy after Watford fair enough. Webster was awful defensively for weeks.
So often agree with what you say and this again is summed up perfectly. Different games may require different approaches, injuries and suspensions will also bite at some point.
I'm sure everybody wants Webster to do well and make judgements about what they see Vs whatever other options could...
Ireland in the KO play off games for this summer's Euros, 2 games from potential qualification to the finals.
Duffy will think he must be playing regularly to ensure his place in the Ireland defence.
There is something in that, especially for a tinkerman coach.
I've felt it completely Naive to go to places like Man City and try and play toe to toe, more often than not you'll lose, even at Chelsea and Liverpool where we sort of held our own a bit, we still lost. Against those teams around us...
That's pretty much bang on with the reality of the situation.
If only Webster could defend a bit better and cut out mistakes, or Duffy could pass/carry the ball a bit better, we'd have the best defenders for Potters system.
As it happens, as you allude, both have a part of their game that's...
John Terry was in the same Ilk, not a classy ball player, no pace... But solid defender, a leader, brave, would throw himself in front of a bus to stop a goal, blood and guts defending.
Considering Duffy's perspective, if he does end up leaving. He's to good a defender to be bench warming, and whilst it's by no means a given.... Ireland still have the chance to qualify for the Euros, with potentially 2 qualifier KO games, and he also needs to be playing regularly for that...
We defend as a team, our record is inspite of Websters errors and others errors to, not because of him being great.
I'm with DarrenFreemansPerm Duffy is by far a better defender right now, full international, much more physical, much better aerial presence, 2 seasons of PL experience
Webster has not yet shown here he's a very good defender imho. Obviously with his career to date, he's done ok..... But at this level and for 20 million has he shown himself to a great defender or even one of the 2 best centre halves at defending?.
The answer is No.
I'm sure everybody wants...
We're leaking soft goals, Duffy may not be the best passer in some poor man's Brendon Rogers system. But he's a rock, he'll throw himself in front of anything, he's one of the best defenders in the club and half of one of the most successful defensive partnerships ever at our club.
We don't...
