Time to dig up the dead for another round of mockery?
And I wonder sometimes why I put people on ignore*
Have we not yet established he's not the full ticket? Have we not? Have we?
This thread is beginning to appear to be against the laws of human nature.
*No, to be fair, I don't.
Indeed. We can all be a bit of an arse. But some of us can recognize our mistakes and wind our neck in. Even apologise.
Lingard seems to have fallen off a cliff this season though. I hope he's being looked after (and not by one of the peculiar women he's hooked up with, passim).
See post #425.
He is an excellent footballer but his mental health may mean that his career can't be resurrected.
Not a lot of people (including yourself) appear to know that
And at the end of all this mockery, tomorrow night on channel 4 he talks about depression (which runs in his family on his mother's side).

Indeed. Dreadful ignominious end to his managerial career with all those wanka players. Let me just check.....mmmmmm......oh. He won the premier league in his final year as manager. How very queer. ???
I have no special reason for liking him, and consider him anonymous when loaned to us, but this is just silly. Why is Lingard a bad bloke? The link you provided is to Glen Johnson (who?) slagging him off based on nothing other than his opinion.
We have no idea why J-Linz hasn't singed for the...
I don't get the Lingard hate. Just because he celebated our goal in a fast-unravelling playoff game. The fact he tried to stay at his home town club and make it there, even though Wet Sham were keen to extend his successful period there, where he was loved, is commendable. The fact his home town...
He's nowhere near sufficiently petulant, and he's a much better all round player (at Wet Sham, anyway).
Anyway, he's an icky thump, dyed in the woollen flat cap, Moss Side, ah kid, see me tats, John Cooper Clark, Northern tripe-gobbler. There is as much chance of him settling way down south as...
His brother tweeting dismay that Jessie isn't likely to make another appearance this season and won' be able to say goodbye to the fans after 13 years with the club.
Has West Ham, Newcastle and Everton written all over it.
