I have been trawling the end-of-year lists in search of new (to me) artists and albums and have hit upon these which I thoroughly recommend. Moses Sumney - Græ. Beatrice Dillon - Workaround Tamar Aphek - Russian Winter EP

Bravo. I have very fond memories of him playing a gig, just before Xmas couple of years back, at the location where his studio is. Look forward to listening to this.

My Gorillaz vinyl and cassette package has just arrived. Have to say, the albums get more mad with each release. Mad in a good way though; it’s packed with guest appearances.

Not new, but recent, is Max Cooper’s excellent Yearning For The Infinite album. I saw him perform this a few months back with quite an incredible multi-dimensional Audio Visual set up. Been listening to the album a lot recently
