From what I've seen of West Ham this season (which is a lot more than usual with the Ferguson loan ramping up my interest), AWB has done very well defensively. In addition, I've been impressed with his positioning. The issue comes when he gets the ball in an attacking position.

I get that. But his highlights video is telling in it's complete lack of defensive actions where he is arguably, on par with some like Lamptey or worse.
He is clearly not the greatest defender but if we want an attacking full back, Wan-Bissaka is not a great option at all. He is as bad going...

Sky Sports linking us with him again. He'll be available on a free at the end of the month.
A has played 148 EPL games. 82 at right-back, 32 at left-back.
He could be a very useful squad player if we see the likely departure of Lamptey soon.
I think we really need some players in his age group too.
We could sign another £15m wonderkid for rightwing back but this guy is quality and has the experience to really shore up our right side.
I wonder if Lamptey could go the other way?
“Brighton are also keeping tabs on defender Walker-Peters, in a bid to improve their survival chances.”
Survival chances?
