Giroud? Depends if GP feels he could suit his system. I hope we do get a striker in, but from the press conference it seems that GP is happy to focus on the players he has.

I will be very concerned if we don’t get a striker in. All very well saying blah blah we have Murray, but for whatever reason the guy does not fit Potters style. So we therefore have a lot of reliance on Maupay and Connolly.

I think we have plenty enough for RB this season; Montoya, Alzate, Greyhound and plenty of others who could do a job in an emergency (AJ, Solly etc). For me a striker should be 100% our priority. As mentioned here one injury to Maupay and we are back to relying on Murray holding it up Hughton...

I think it’s pretty clear so far that Potter doesn’t just set up 1 system of play. He is a forward thinking manager who plays a fluid system and is more then happy changing 3/4 at the back mid game let alone each week.
