I can remember the point we won at Wolves was greeted on here like we had won a cup final :)
Fair enough, fans are loyal to the current manager of the time, that’s actually a very positive thing.
But once they’re gone, boy it’s almost like we are discussing a different person. Never mind...
Agreed - and the strengthening is key, we spent the most ever at 60 million (and that doesn't take into account whatever fee we possibly may have gent agreed with Hudds over a permanent deal for Mooy). I think we'd want some return on that and we'd be disappointed with much less than the 23...
The signature still bangs I see :bigwave:
This is really weird as I could go to search and pick out loads of times I got stick for criticising Hughton's deep defending approach, incredible as it may seem now there was a time on here when it wasn't popular to say stuff like that.
It seems to...
I enjoy when we win! Even wins where our passing isn't mega-fluent as it was for much of the game yesterday, certainly the first half
We get 25 points last season at this stage and we've got 23 this, which is the minimum required really after 60 mill of spending on a squad that largely ended up...
Could you please stop drowning in your pyschological projection?
If you don't like the stats being referenced, select better ones and aim to convince that way rather than the usual keyboard warrior shtick
And you were doing so well there!
There was as much pressure getting us up to the Prem as staying there, you can't erase Hughton blooding the young March in the Championship so well, it smacks of an agenda which doesn't really help explain our football
Does Potter believe in Hughton's squad abilities? Not really seen it in his selections, virtually none of the flops that cost Hughton his job have been rehabilitated. In fact maybe Duffy would tell you Potter doesn't even believe in some of the players who did well under Hughton.
