I never quite got my head around Hibs paying 110K for him when he was available for nothing about 4 weeks earlier. That was a significant wedge as well in the era of us paying 15K for Storer or 1K for Gary Hart.

Fairly sure the fee has been agreed on this one, a bit like with us having agreed 10m with Fulham for Knockaert. There must be a financial reason for the loan instead of transfer in both cases; although I’ve no idea what it is.
