Hard to pick between Mooy and a 19 year old year scoring a brace on his first PL start (also a relentless nightmare for the Belgium CB pairing).
It would be madness to drop Mooy. Finally we have an ACM/midfield general who creates for 90 minutes, with decent pace.
Is there another Albion player with Mooy’s football intelligence and the ability to outclass CL opposition for 90 minutes?
Trossard possibly, hopefully.
Lovely article in the Guardian, oozing with praise at Maupay, Alzate, Mooy & co, as well as our play in general.

And Connolly here. They even mention the sore-losers barge from Dire...
Many said the same as you during and after the Newcastle match, he was class, he ran the first half before tiring in the second half. With full match fitness, he’s now immense.
Helped by having the tireless Maupay, Stephens, Connolly and Alzate around him.
Is it hard to judge against Chelsea’s top internationals who are light years ahead of all our players. For example Radio Sussex thought Gross had a stinker.
Mooy was quality against Newcastle, especially first half.
He’ll never have exceptional pace, but Gross and Propper have little too.
