    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

If given out on merit, Mooy would have half a dozen plus MOTM awards already. The CM’er we’ve needed for many seasons.

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

He supported Stephens in centrally shielding the back 4 last night, when not creating. Would like to see his ‘heat map’ from the game.

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

We’ve been crying out for a CM of this type, probably for the Amex years, I was chuffed when he signed in August. Giving us a creative CM.

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

In the destruction of Spurs, Mooys was everywhere, unplayable, a 10/10 performance.

Mooy was also the business at Newcastle, before fading due to a lack of match fitness in the second half. Looking a very good (loan) acquisition.
  6. Weststander

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

Hard to pick between Mooy and a 19 year old year scoring a brace on his first PL start (also a relentless nightmare for the Belgium CB pairing). It would be madness to drop Mooy. Finally we have an ACM/midfield general who creates for 90 minutes, with decent pace.

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

Is there another Albion player with Mooy’s football intelligence and the ability to outclass CL opposition for 90 minutes? Trossard possibly, hopefully.

Lovely article in the Guardian, oozing with praise at Maupay, Alzate, Mooy & co, as well as our play in general. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/oct/05/brighton-tottenham-premier-league-match-report And Connolly here. They even mention the sore-losers barge from Dire...

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

Many said the same as you during and after the Newcastle match, he was class, he ran the first half before tiring in the second half. With full match fitness, he’s now immense. Helped by having the tireless Maupay, Stephens, Connolly and Alzate around him.

10/10 with Connolly. Midfield perfection. Every trick, spin and nutmeg seemed to bamboozle his arrogant opponents.

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

    Slightly! Has he quickened up?
  13. Weststander

    [Albion] Aaron Mooy

Did he ever have PL level stamina? In 2017/18 I thought he subbed an awful lot.

Is it hard to judge against Chelsea’s top internationals who are light years ahead of all our players. For example Radio Sussex thought Gross had a stinker. Mooy was quality against Newcastle, especially first half. He’ll never have exceptional pace, but Gross and Propper have little too.
