We already have to many players who can’t play a final ball or score goals and for me Alzate is in that camp. I’d like to see Gilmour get a run before deciding on Alzate

Both extremely last minute. So much so Alzate could only get to a medical in London to try and meet the cut off. Sounds like poor planning but I wonder if it prevented another move for Alzate ?

He's only 22 isn't he? Think playing all positions last year might have hampered his chances as well as the injuries early on. Think he is a decent 'baller' but did lack end product / decisive passing when he had a good run in the side so not sure if he is any better (at the moment) than other...

Who are you dropping for him though? It was suggested he got COVID wasn’t it ? Plus he had a big operation so who knows what impact they’ve had

The flip side is - Alzate travelled to South America for the last internationals and didn't play a minute for Columbia, so what's the point? I think he got back to the UK something stupid like Thursday morning, with the Palace game on the Saturday lunch time. And that is before we even consider...

Great that he has his Columbia call up, but somehow we’ve got to get him back and in form for the Palace game. Time difference will be a killer

I think either he caught COVID or the operation was cancelled because of COVID. Was booked in at beginning of lockdown
