Fortunately, GP doesn't come with the baggage of loyalty towards last season's success stories. I like the idea that a stalwart displaying indifferent form will find himself dropped for someone else to have their turn, otherwise it can only stir resentment in the fringe players.
It always has been but his early shot when we had bodies in the area better placed was due to selfishness, not indecision. I hope he's benched for Burnley.
