You can wait as long as you like, sunshine. We did invest money in him (nearly £3M apparantly), but loans were scuppered by injuries (and Covid). Shit happens, so like the club I wish the lad all the best.
Now carry on puffing at that rolled up pizza or whatever it is that you do, and stop...
Not really - most Belgians speak French, Dutch and German as a matter of course, and English on a great many cases. English being a common tongue for much of the world, much to the chagrin of the French. Even in spite of the 'Auld Alliance', French won't get you far in a bar in Leith.
With 'Geez...
Guessing you haven't lived in Edinburgh? It's a fabulous city, and thanks to the gulf stream (though less effective on the east coast than the west) almost certainly warmer than Brussels. Brussels has better trams - and that's about it.
Perhaps we could facilitate European football for both...
Interesting - they want Ostigard as well, according to that source (and a few others). Walton, I think it is time to move him on, but I think Ostigard may be ready for us in another season's time. We can't let them both go for nothing, can we?
Since we bought him (allegedly for three million euros) he's only played 16 league matches (eleven of those when we lent him back to Viitorul Constanța for a half season after we bought him!) Injuries nave robbed him of game time at Dynamo Kyiv - but not just injuries; he's been left out of the...

IMHO it's a shame we didn't keep it bubbling.
Only seen him once in the EFL Trophy against AFC Wimbledon, and didn't think he particularly stood out - but that's only one match. Loans abroad usually seem to indicate the player is on his way, although Ostigaard and Gyokeres seem to have bucked that trend this year.
My gut feeling, FWIW...
Has he actually played for us, U23s or anything else? Come to think of it, has he ever seen Lancing, or is he a European version of Percy Tau or Billy Arce?
I would guess he expected/hoped he'd feature for the first team. Now that has patently been shown not to be the case, perhaps he'll consider a loan more seriously.
In 2020 or 2021. We've got him, and a couple of years playing for us will do him no harm - more likely the experience in the PL will do him a power of good (and hopefully us too).
Of course, if we just stick him in the U23s or loan him out to Bognor ......................................
