Right on the money. It's a massive pity that South African players require 10 years of loans in the EU before being able to play in a pre-season friendly as I'd like to see Percy playing up top with the absolute unit who was playing for SA as the central striker the other night...
It's just...
You're probably right, but from what I've seen game by game in the PL - he is no worse nor more injury prone than both Locadia and Andone... Both need to improve vastly in my eyes to warrant being considered a proven better option than Tomer. Locadia in particular was massively underwhelming...
Oh dear... How dare you claim twice that I have "disdain" and/or that "I hate" any player. You're claiming (in writing) things you can't back up.Let's look at what I did say: I claimed that Locadia was rubbish in the PL last season both centrally and out wide. I'd like you to prove on a games...
You might be right and yes, if we drop deep we're back to square one. The task GP has, is to get us playing a higher line and pushing the wide men up the pitch to greater effect. Can our lot do it? Under CH it would seem not, but GP might if he opts for the back three be able to develop a system...
I don't think the way GP likes to play is dependant on a central striker with pace... I really don't. Hence no anti Murray agenda from me, moreover an acceptance that he can't play at 100% more than once every couple of weeks. A rotation of Tomer and Glenn, will be something I'd like to see...
I really like Tomer, so I'm in the 'couldn't give a rats ass what other people might think..' camp. He's a much better PL player than Jurgen - his record suggests so, even if his transfer fee isn't quite so bloated. Also if GP MKII likes to play a target man who can drop deep (I've read he does)...
