I’d also add into the mix the regularity of bouts that top level fighters have nowadays versus 50 years ago.
Today most PPV fighters, fight a maximum of 2 contests per year. In contrast previous era’s would sometimes fight a couple of times a month. Law of averages dictates that big fights...
I’d say that in general the people who dislike Joshua primarily disliked his relationship with Hearn and how he become the poster boy for Matchroom, a promotional company that put all types of shit on PPV. That’s a big reason for me.
The other reason was you could see clearly he was a big hype...
Fury still has time to dominate, he’s still a young man. I’ve not always agreed with everything his said but he’s genuine and real. Compare that to the Joshua who has been media trained to the point he has no real personality apart from repeating the same old sound bytes.
Joshua could come...
Delighted with that result, although I’d have loved it more if Fury beat him. Hearn’s over hyped puppet has come unstuck due to having no stamina. His physique is too muscle bound to be a 12 round fighter.
All down to Fury & Wilder now next year for the big prize.
