Yeah there were some good times, but there were shit times too. And you may not have noticed while there, but we didn't actually have 30 thousand seats. For those who didn't have a season ticket, getting a ticket was a pain, and many thought they simply wouldn't get one. It was a long way from...
Brighton. They just didn't go very often. I used to go to the Withdean out of loyalty. It was a miserable experience when we were playing poorly and the weather was shit.
Oh I see, you've actually got no evidence, you just made it up. I'll try and explain it to you:
I used to go to the Goldstone - not as often as I'd have liked, as I was young and couldn't always go. We were at the Withdean for over 10 years, and I had a season ticket for only about 4 of them...
It's virtually impossible for it to match what were possibly the two best ever semi-final comebacks. But both teams will go for it, so it should be entertaining even if Liverpool walk away with it.
If Brighton won the Champions League I'd have to be sectioned for talking about nothing else for the rest of my life.
Not before time, some of you might think, but I'm still free.
Yep, at least if Liverpool win they won't brag about it. Hopefully they'll win the league too and we'll have a peaceful summer without old friends reminding us that they're actually Liverpool fans, in case you'd forgotten.
