I remember it well. He got made redundant a while later and came on here to boast about the payoff and how he would be 'back in the city' in no time.
I was just glad when he eventually got a job, a long time after, as the amount of shite he posted on here dropped by 90%. (I don't think he was...

I wonder what industry is waiting to get the benefit of our friend Falmerfourtickets talents and epic career progression next
I remember Les Sr and Les Jr taught me Maths at school. Both very good genuine hard working councillors, as is the other South Portslade councillor, Alan Robins, another associate from very many years ago. I always had a lot of time for the two Withdean councillors Ken and Anne Norman as well...
Read my post again. I'm agreeing with you that local elections should be voted on local issues and parliamentary elections are the place to fight over Brexit :)
Well I have to admit, neither are doing as good a job as the ERG at thwarting Brexit.

Turnout is averaging just one or two points below the last two local elections, reversing predictions of a major drop off in voters

I also thought it would be lower. Maybe I...
What like voting for a single policy Anti-EU party at the last few local elections, when it could have no effect, outside of a UK parliamentary election
(And I know you didn't, but you seem to be suggesting that huge numbers of people who voted UKIP are idiots. That could start a...
What you have quoted there is a local issue which has effected one or more local seats at a local election. When hundreds and thousands of these are put together, they create trends. I am really at a complete loss why you are trying to deny the overall trend of this election, but really can't be...
The large gains for independents are obviously at the expense of people deserting the big two (coincidentally Brexit) parties, look at the numbers.
And the large gains for the Lib Dems and Green (coincidentally Remain) parties ?
And the wiping out of the one policy UKIP (coincidentally Brexit)...
You're certainly not wrong there.
Unfortunately, mainly the people who voted for them :shootself:
If you made it up, no one would believe you
*edit* I was going to explain why, but realised it would be a waste of time and keystrokes
You just don't get the same quality of flounces these days. It's all :flounce::cry::flounce::cry: and then straight back with the same old crap within a few days
