Totally agree, except I would specify CMs. That's the position from which they can make the whole team tick.

I think a lot of people are hugely over-estimating the money we'd get for players we don't want any more! And a lot of the clubs that might want them at a knock down price wouldn't want to pay the wages they're currently getting, so we'd still be stuck with them.

Dead right. Assuming our budget will be the better part of our PL £100M, that will be enough for two of the players of the calibre we need - three at the very outside if we're lucky with bargains, but we've tried doing that already.......... These players need to go straight into the first team...

Can't see many players going, tbh. The ones we wouldn't mind off-loading just won't have very much value at the moment. How would you rate our chances of getting our money back on Locadia or Jahanbakhsh for example?

So maybe just try for a sensible guess?
