El Presidente, please can you answer this one? A couple of posters have dismissed Deloitte’s research on football finance as inadequate and so as a result, we should ignore for example their tables of worldwide clubs sorted by income. Is their work on football finance to be dismissed, or an...

Love your NSC signature. Toto Wolff is a legend, and a good guy.

CH has achieved his first job for TB by delivering 3 x £100m in additional income (assuming we stay up), ending the annual haemorrhage of cash (TB had injected £79m of personal funds in our last three Championship years). Now onto significant first team improvements this summer, hopefully .

This 100%. The outpouring for someone 99.9% of Bluebirds had never seen as ‘one of their own’ and the prodigal son about to propel them up the PL. Then it all emerges - the murky dealings with a bankrupt and unauthorised agent, capped by very promptly CCFC doing all they can to avoid paying a...

I think we need better players in key positions to achieve that attacking approach to games and pull it off. Hopefully TB will deliver that this summer. That’s regardless of whoever the manager is. Whether it be Hughton, Carvahal, Pardew, Wagner, Hughes, Pulis or Ranieri in the hot seat when...

We pushed Stephen, Propper and Montoya into the opposition half against Cardiff from the off, leading to their critical opening goal. It was a far cry from the mass, deep defence, which yielded so many results from Sept 17 to Dec 18.

Isn’t the annual increment from being PL circa £105m? Of which a third to a half often disappears in increased payroll costs.

The crux of this is, what type of football did we play 2015/16 and 2016/17? (a) I’d always thought it was a pacy counter attacking football, with multiple threats and an abundance of goals. I’d expect CH to resume with that to an extent, IF we can get a better first team. (b) But it turns...

But if 17 other clubs player budgets are far better funded, many massively so (CP, Everton, West Ham, Leicester), then our budget in the market buys a lower grade of player.

With a bottom three player budget last season, yet we finished higher than that. This season, the same again and we’re likely to stay up. Everything is relative to the competition.

I must admit that I can’t remember much about that match, other than we played very well and that Foster made a bunch of quality saves. Our last all round great league performance!!!

I thought that during many of our losses this season, DP was positioned in a far more advanced role. Leaving DS exposed as opposing CM’ers counter attacked us en masse? DP has no pace, so if he must play, perhaps sittiing in front of LD/SD, is the only suitable position?

The club (not CH) will spend, I hope, on two creative ACM’ers, a RB and a striker. I see Andone, Jahanbakhsh and Locadia all being given more time, unless they ask to leave.

A decent sitting midfielder before the move to Sunderland ruined his career. It wasn’t his fault that in the Championship Poyet instructed him to then pass to Greer, then to El Abd or Dunk, in a relentless triangle, whilst opposition players broke out their cigars.

Stains far more expensive and highly paid squad simply includes some far better players for their positions (with pace), such as Redmond, Ward-Prowse and Armstrong. They’re comfortably a mid table squad. Their improved results is in essence an indictment of Mark Hughes’s shit management

He also had some great PL performances earlier in the season, for example CP at the Amex ... negating the diver’s game completely, so much so that he ‘trod’ on an Albion player. Lacking confidence last season, Solly’s upped his game markedly.

Poyet - spot on. Rodgers - his team played positive attacking football with Britton, Dyer and Sinclair marauding forward, run by Joe Allen. The price was an imperfect defence leaking goals, but attractive football to watch.

Was it really ghastly 1-0 wins from Aug 15 to Apr 17, based on a boring defensive style? I must be going mad, as I don’t remember that whatsoever.
