I’ll be flamed for this but that smacks of defeatism to me. Not the fact that he intends to play that way, I kind of get it, but that he is saying it to the press. I’d kind of hoped for a rallying defiant reaction publically, I guess that’s Barber’s brief though :smile:

Is it too simplistic to suggest that players not pulling their weight should have been dropped, maybe that’s not the manager’s responsibility either :rolleyes: If the manager can’t get players to compete on the field, why should he expect to stay?

Oh joy, and we go again next season......more of the same Of course I want to stay up but I definitely don’t want CH as our manager, even if he does pull it off. I know it makes me a bad ungrateful fan too.
