That's simply not true. The issue is the lack of movement and the systematic rigidity which means their first priority is to defend the space until they're 100% sure a run will be rewarded. Unfortunately such a pragmatic approach doesn't lead to regular goals as we're seeing this year.
This is true, but what Moutinho and Never both have is runners looking for passes into space. To be fair to our midfielders, our system/manager doesn't allow for such things really.
Exactly. Stylistically they're a very different offensive team than us though. They're so much more vertical than we are and a part of that is pace, but they're much more intelligent in the press too.
