Of course not ... TB would have to take a risk and evaluate that risk/reward against what he has now. If anyone one knows how to take a calculated risk then he does
or .... change the players to accomodate the style (lots of pace and energy to enable very quick breaks)
and whatever style we adopt we need to find footballers who know how to pass to one wearing the same shirt!
I think I agree that last point. But I'm not sure that the £5K a week difference between us and Bournemouth (in 12th) is really the reason why there's such a difference in performance. Particulalry when you take out the reported £100K+ a week that Defoe is on it actually makes the numbers about...
I struggle a little with comparing budgets amongst the 'also rans' because of a) the number of players developed via the youth/U23 set up, b) the varying length of contracts and c) when they were signed. I don't think it's as straightforward as adding the ammortised fees and wages of current...
