I couldn't agree more. Only when we have that, will we go into all PL games with genuine hope of winning, and to end this (dogged defence) trying to pinch results strategy.
Now over to TB/PB/PW/CH this summer.
An unusually negative footballing post from you. I enjoyed the majority of our Championship 29 months under CH, up there with the greatest Albion memories for me. In a division with a stack of clubs at times such as Villa, Newcastle, Derby, Boro and Massive who’d spent far, far more than us...
Is CH limited though? In the PL with a modest to poor squad, conservative tactics. In the Championship with a relatively strong squad, brilliant counter attacking football at pace.
I’d like to see how CH does with some better players.
For all his business and poker acumen, I envisage TB...
OK then, for say 30 PL games as our starting centre forward (most other PL clubs don’t keep rotating their no 9, unless they have injuries or all are duds).
If we don’t want to be in the relegation mix mire all season, every season, don’t we need a quality centre forward?
Perhaps Locadia is...
Genuine questions - is he good enough to lead the line for 38 PL games next season as a starter, will he score enough goals to keep us up, has he got the aireal ability to win balls played up when against towering PL centre halves?
CH admitted in his Radio Sussex interview that we didn’t play until about 65 minutes. The Telegraph described it as we “woke from our slumber” at that point.
We go a goal down, we’ll lose. Cardiff are the masters with Burnley at time wasting.
So, the Albion players just for once need to come out of the tunnel fired up and start a game awake ffs.
Outplayed at the Amex this season by Burnley, Fulham and Stains. Thankfully a Fulham player committed a ridiculous handball to get us draw. Also outplayed by Wolves and West Ham (not my words, but from CH).
We’re not that good are we?
An arrogant fan was the last person interviewed on Radio...
Lack of PL quality ‘chickens coming home to roost’. CH has managed to chisel out enough results since August 17, sometimes on a wing and a prayer. But in 2019 we’re finally seeing this our lack of quality with clarity. We have no PL quality centre midfielders with pace and guile. We very...
