Picking up your points
Nobody is desperate to write anyone off, it’s a discussion site. The discussion is the merits of a player.
It’s not ‘utter guff’ because as supporters we hope our team succeeds, so hopefully a player comes good, but as football is a results business, at some point you...
Would you give teams a nine game start in a season?
What is a ‘reasonable’ amount of games in everyone’s opinion?
I would say at game 5, you are getting an idea, but then didn’t Bergkamp (Dennis [emoji23]) take half the season to ‘bed-in’ at Arsenal prior to excelling?
I do agree that players...
Thought today was his best game so far.
His decision making though, at times is just so poor. Grrrrr!
Still next season for me....

We are missing him, but when he’s played he still hasn’t been good as last year.
Just a shame he’s been injured so much, as we do need him

Just watched some more and a lot of them are from the middle of the field, perhaps that is his better position, because he doesn’t seem to have the attributes to be a winger. (Pace, crossing ability).
His stronger foot is his right, so actually cutting the in from the left, if anything, should...
Though watching some of the goals he scored, it did involve him cutting inside and shooting, so I’m not entirely sure this is the case.

Oh yes, re City. The movement is majestic, everything we are clueless against.
I was at ground level at The Etihad and just watching Sane was incredible, we have a 3% chance IMO, so let’s go out 4-2 or similar rather than 2-0 with no offensive threat.
I really believe in Hughton, but without...
Spot on.
Positionally, he is woeful, he switched off so many times vs Southampton it was embarrassing.
Last night he was lucky to have Bruno behind him, who probably talked him through it. (the same as he does with Knockaert).
Hazard didn’t come in-field in the second half for no reason...
All I saw was him holding the ball too long, attempting I’ll-judged flicks, actually hamper Bernardo by blocking his run.
There was a 5 minute spell just before halftime when I thought he turned the corner, but he actually got worse.
Yes, with the exception of Bissouma in the first half and...
Sorry, poor decision making and inability to control a ball as well as being physically inept has nothing to do with the system.
