I don't believe this is anything to do with selling memberships and far more about expanding our fan base. Sth's, members and purchase history are not new fans, they're existing ones. The new fans are the sth and members friends, and this is the group they've been pushing as much as they can...
No, I'm a bronze member and think it should go to purchase history now. (fwiw I think it will)
What actually devalues the membership is forcing thousands of other people to buy it, this actually reduces my priority window which is the main reason to buy it.
Anyway I had two spare bronze...
I'm wondering how many people have bought a £30 up in the gods, seen all the new tickets down in prime seating areas and thought sod it, and bought another one
Good view, sure. But fuzzing expensive and you're right on the edge of the Brighton fans. This game is more about the occasion and atmosphere than yet another chance to see 22 people kick a ball around. Put me in the heart of the fans action please.
About 2600 left, they've been flying out today. Pretty much only £30 seats left, a few back rows of £45 seats, a couple of quite big chunks of £65 seats in the family area, and singles dotted around. Most seats back of upper tier behind the goals
I don't quite get why these are the 'best seats'. Sure, they're nearer the half-way line, but you're right on the edge of the Brighton fans, next to the day-trippers and equivalent City fans. Surely this is a game for being in the heart of the action
Its hard to use purchase history as a prioritising thing when there are probably in excess of 100,000 who have been to a game at the Amex. Instead I guess they want to reward people who are STH's or members by allowing them to bring guests, and then release the remaining tickets to people with a...
Is a good principle to have, until the day that there are more members than seats. I cracked last year, and was a little annoyed at the expense as I haven't needed it all this season - until it enabled me to have front row seats in the upper tier at Wembley. Now I'm pleased I've got it.
Also...
Kind of pleased these weren't available when I booked, happy to have saved £70 by booking up high coz I know I would have been tempted
bit more annoyed about these ones, but hey ho. They are pretty good seats.....
One way to look at it is that we've sold roughly the home capacity of the Amex, and we've still got an entire Withdean available to sell*
*[This will be even more true when we've shifted another 1,000, but I like this way of counting :)]
Because you already moaned about being down in the SW corner, this way you'll get higher priority.
Because if you go to 20 games a season surely it would be cheaper with a season ticket, and you'll get on the waiting list?
And if you want to go to cup games or other games like this one, you'll...
Got my two, near the front in 544 :D
Nothing in the lower tiers, but most upper tiers have quite a lot from rows 7 backwards. The 'family area' £65 seats in 548 and 549 had tickets from row 2 backwards
