But if there are tickets left, which it looks like there will be, why can’t they be sold to people without a membership who want to go to just this game. Surely that would be better than a couple of thousand empty seats?
Forcing people to buy memberships to get tickets seems a bit out of order by the club. I realise they could get season ticket holders to get them tickets but I’m sure there’s quite a lot of people out there who want to purchase their own tickets.
This will be their 4th game at Wembley this season. With the other competitions they are in, the cost of the tickets and the difficulties getting back to Manchester after the game, I think it’s understandable that they are probably not going to sell out.
City are the opposite. They’ve sold a lot in the Upper Tiers but not many in the Lower. They all need to save their money as they’ve got so many games coming up so are buying the cheaper tickets.
