    Agreed. There's been some back and forth on this in earlier pages in this thread but I think Saturday may well be the biggest EVER Albion following. Some think we had more than 35,000 at the F A Cup replay in '83 but I'm doubtful.

    The attendance was 59,940. We definitely had more fans than Notts County that day but unlikely to have been more than 35,000.

    Must have been for both then. I remember that very clearly at the replay. Brighton fans went down to the lower tier at halt-time and attacked United fans.

I’d have have thought, judging by the way the FA usually keep so many tickets for officials and guests etc, that it would have been unlikely to exceeed 35,000 but I don’t know.     Assuming we sell out this means we'll have just under 35,000 fans at Wembley. That must be the biggest number of Albion fans ever at a match?
