And then the pundits will crucify them if they get it wrong. I watched it at normal speed and thought it was off. As did the commentators and the pundits. It wasn't a great decision but you can see why she got it wrong. Many other decisions such as the foul on Bernardo, the offside early in the...
I'm getting bored of arguing one decision from a lino who I think is no better or worse than others but I would contend the missed offside when Millwall nearly scored in the second half from the other lino was a lot, lot worse as both players were running in the same direction making the...
OK - you are here for the full 30 minute argument so I'll bow out. But it really isn't a difficult concept - calling an offside that takes a freeze frame to prove is not a worse decision than missing obvious fouls in the box when you are 5 yards away. If you want to argue context then knock...
I am not saying it was offside - I am saying it was the least worst of the decisions today. As I said on the other thread, calls like that which in real time are split second are one of the reasons VAR needs to come in to help officials. The other calls needed VAR to overturn abysmal officiating.
You keep saying that but I have played it back and the only way you can say that is with the freeze frame. In real time, it was a static defence with an overlapping player at full tilt.
Can't blame the lino as those are almost impossible to call but yet again, VAR would have overturned. FA need to hang their head in shame for their PL only VAR policy.
