As close as that! I remember the march from Derby station through zillions of back streets to the Baseball Ground when we played Derby in the League Cup replay in 1976. Not particularly scenic I can tell you.

From East Croydon? That’s a long old march to Selhurst Park! I’m surprised Selhurst, Thornton Heath or Norwood Junction stations weren’t considered. :)
