We did not play like a team that have given up or one that is sure to go down. Nothing is certain but I was encouraged by the performance, even the commentary team said we were a bit unfortunate. When you are down luck is hard to come by.
That was a much better performance than I was expecting
Roll on Saturday, I’ll have a dry bed tonight.
Oh and the mutterings of Hughton Out are as obvious as night following day. Ridiculous idea imo
Murray cost us that game. We played well for large portions of the game and his two missed gilt edged chances were the difference.
I take heart from the fact that the team did fight and we do not look a team going down imo
This is the most pessimistic pre match matchday thread that I have ever seen! Expect a Hughton OUT thread if we lose badly.
Pull yourselves together guys, we haven’t even conceded yet
My memory may be playing tricks because we have had a dire couple of games recently, but Fulham (where we were good in the first half) and Burnley aside and at the time a very uncharacteristic collapse against West Ham (where we still got a point), we have put in some decent performances away...
I’m not sure exactly what you are trying to say but if you are suggesting it won’t be a problem for CH to rally the troops after losing to Huddersfield, I think you may be losing it.
A loss tonight and a loss on Saturday would be very hard to come back from not “easy” as you seem to be suggesting.
This is my worry, we will set up not to concede and let Leicester come at us, this will get the crowd excited, we will sit deeper and deeper and end up conceding as Leicester confidence grows roared on by the crowd
Vardy on fire and Schmeichel having a blinder when we do get chances...
