I'm under no illusion of where we are in the league and the very real threat of relegation, but I also don't think you can take a run of results in isolation, you have to look at performances. We've not been bad in games, I've not seen a lack of effort or organisation. We are making far too many...
Played pretty well to be fair. 2 stand out goal keeping performances. Shocking refereeing decision. Onwards and upwards. Play well, and the next games will go the other way.
Evenly matched sporting contests are often decided on a bit of fortune. Leicester were by far the better side by all accounts on Saturday, but couldn't finish their chances. Today, they had far fewer chances but converted both.
You don't deserve luck or fortune, but sometimes you do just need...
The obvious omission being the person who sets the budgets, the wage structure etc.
Not easy to bring in a 15+ goal a season striker when you're working with a wage ceiling and a budget. The obvious question is why we don't spunk £27m on a striker and give him £120k per week?
Too many fans obsess about managers. Arsenal fans moaning to get rid of Wenger, where are they - exactly where they would have been under Arsene. Southampton and Huddersfield big impacts from their changes? Not really. Why? Because the players play football, they make mistakes, they score goals...
No one is sleep walking to relegation. I don't see any of the players not giving their absolute all in the games. This is football at the highest level, unforgiving and punishing. We can have our hissy fits, its the manager, the owner, the budget, the recruitment, but it's football. We're in a...
The commentators on my feed were really impressed with Brighton. We've obviously conceded 2. The first Knocky gave the ball away halfway, we were out of position, 1 pass and they were in. It was self inflicted. We took the game to them and Murray had to equalise start of the 2nd half, glorious...
That was a really strong away performance. Although upset at losing, there were lots of positives. Last thing we needed was defeat with nothing to take into Saturday. As it is, we know if we sustain these levels, we will start winning again.
