Gotta love Doogie. Great series that has picked back up this time round after a couple of rather lacklustre, soap opera style series’.

I enjoyed it but I felt in the last couple of series the crime plot has simply acted as a backdrop for more domestic soap opera style drama. Certainly enjoyable though and I’d watch another series for sure.

Not especially I don’t think. They are stand alone stories with some sub plots referring back to the characters but no, you should be fine.

The outstanding detective series starts it’s new series tonight at 9 on BBC 1.
