Given that fans have consciously bought their tickets rather than being included in ST price the actual attendance should be close to the number of tickets actually sold, unless there is a mass boycott by 1901ers who didn’t have to buy their ticket.
So numbers there won’t be much different than...
The only thing I would criticise is not opening the North Stand, depriving those who like a good old sing song. Seems like the club has learnt from this.
We can all be clever in our predictions with the benefit of hindsight or when we have nothing to lose but I think the club have done this just right with winners all round - new fans, those who can’t afford PL prices, those who want to sit in new areas, those who want to take kids and friends...
Why didn’t you tell the club this? As an entitled STH I’m sure they would have delayed the ticket release time to suit you.
