Agreed, he has not been up to scratch recently which is a shame because in that attacking midfield role he really made us tick off the bench in some games last season & even the Burnley game earlier this. I think I'd prefer to see Sarmiento off the bench based on recent performances.

Norwood probably not, but Baldock has looked quality at full back for Sheffield United whenever I've seen them.

To be fair, I imagine there would be a bit more fanfare if he was joining with immediate effect, as opposed to in the Summer. He's effectively a Summer signing given the terms of the deal. Looking forward to seeing him play.

If we're paying circa £6mil I doubt he will be in the development squad for long, or that certainly won't be the intention.
