A sad day but he leaves as a player who gave everything every game. From De Zerbis post match comments Caicedo won’t be far behind hm in leaving
As if Liverpool could afford Messi after what they’ll need to shell out for Alexis :lolol:
As an aside it’s not Alexis who’ll be accepting the offer either
What a load of bullshit
His Dad wants him to go somewhere else, presumably so he gets his massive agents fee, I am not convinced Alexis himself is in a rush to leave, especially if we manage to get to Europe. Is that very naive?
I so wanted to be able to pick him up on that, it was because Alexis linked so well with Messi that Argentina won the WC. No Mac and things might have ended differently.
Exactly, it’s the price we pay for being small and punching so far above our weight. Players don’t dream of plying for Brighton, we are a stepping stone to the big time. C’est La Vie, I’m not complaining just a bit sad
The summer window is likely to be the most stressful and disappointing we have ever had. We could quite easily lose 3 or more of our best players. We won’t want to lose that many but if any of them do a “Trossard” we’ll really have no choice imo.
Not convinced we’ll keep De Zerbi if the above...
If he keeps missing chances like he did at Palace I am sure there will be a queue of posters offering to drive him to wherever he goes and buy the sweets too
Time will tell and I really doubt he’d touch Manchester United with a barge poll if he has any sense. Would he walk into a Pep team, I doubt it. If he has any sense he won’t reunite with GP at toxic Chelsea and he wouldn‘t just walk into Arsenal either. He’d also be a mug to go to Spurs too.
He...
Agreed he will not walk into a top six team, he will have to wait his chance and game time will be limited until he establishes himself, unless it’s someone like Liverpool where Klopp might chuck him straight in given their ageing midfield.
But he’s a WC winner and one of the star players so...
Not having it, I demand to be offended. Argie OUT
I wonder what Argentines felt about the Sun headlines on the Belgrano sinking and the British troops on the Canberra on the way to the Falklands singing Summer Holiday with references to killing Argentines.
This made me laugh in an online article I read this morning about the importance of Albion holding onto players in January
"then you have Graham Potter and Chelsea, whose only transfer policy seems to be getting their hands on anything not nailed down at the Amex. Who knows how many players...
